I wish I was like YK, in that I know what car I want to keep forever. Takes the resale worries out of the equation.

Duncs, it’s funny cos the flip side is I don’t get to sample other great cars like you, Matty etc do.

Great stuff Mike, thanks

Agreeing with you 99% of the time, that can’t be a good thing!JLv3.0 wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:35 pm I thought Kin had got his RMSs and IMSs mixed up but he hadn't. I was wrong and deleted my post within about 30 seconds of posting it. Good work spotting it!![]()

Damm !! Right until the last paragraph !

Do you all not get bored after 2+ years? I'd sell the Evora tomorrow if I could be bothered. I still love it, but there's so many cars I'd like to own. Variety is the spice, I can always buy another.Coaster1 wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 6:46 pmSt8 swap 4 CSL bruh?Marv wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 4:13 pmMeh, his left knee was giving him a bit of pain a while back and he was talking about selling his forever carduncs500 wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 3:20 pm

Those are very impressive figures! We've all been brainwashed into viewing the 3.4 as the ginger stepson of the range but 4.6 to 60 and 10s to the ton ain't nothing to sneer at

Re: New Car
People don’t realise how light the early cars are. There’s very little difference in performance between the 3.4 and 3.6 996s below 100mph. In fact, even the 997 3.8S is only a couple of tenths quicker to 60.JLv3.0 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:17 am Those are very impressive figures! Yeah, that surprised me too - I guess it’s that 911 ability to put the power down!JLv3.0 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:17 am Those are very impressive figures! Re: New Car
Must be. 355 posted the same 0-60 with more bhp per ton (224 v 267).
It also surprised me how much better it looks than the 993 on the side by side shot!

Re: New Car
I / we went nuts over Kin's GT3 recording the ton in 9s. Just a second slower for the boggo model!

Re: New Car
Add me to the surprised pile. I always assumed the performance would be a little dissapointing, or at least no quicker than my m3 and having a bigger engine making less power.
However a couple of hundred kg less weight, better traction and a more slippery shape make more difference than I would have expected.

I can’t imagine ever selling the GT3. Would love to ‘add more to the fleet’, money no object of course.Matty wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 1:42 am Do you all not get bored after 2+ years? Re: New Car
Christ - two years into ownership and I'm still calling it my new car.
Re: New Car
Mainly cos the 993 is on those horrific (faux?) split rims that they put on all the Targas as std - for some weird reason.240PP wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 9:30 am It also surprised me how much better it looks than the 993 on the side by side shot!
