I still don't think Red does the Elise shape any favours. And an Elise on 100k for £17k in this current climate seems a bit strong for my liking, especially with a random engine in. But it's probably just me being miserable.

It looks in great nick, but strange how a sports car in bright red can look so understated.

theres only one thing cooler than those seats, and that the Ron Burgandy-alike on that link!

Yeah nice touch with the Ron Burgandy lookalike
Only thing about those Recaro Pole Position, is that they are the ABE, i.e. ‘Wide’ version. They won’t fit me as tightly as the ‘FIA’ slim version.
Anyway.... more today’s want:
I’m a sucker for bikes with Marlboro-esque livery.

I'm liking those Recaros
I caught an old Wheeler Dealers last night and now have a thing for the R107 SL.

Red suits 993 Turbos though... Hubba:

Wow they look good!
Though at them prices, it'll be much cheaper to get my SPG's re-trimmed!

Ah, well - now you're mixing things up a bit
Firstly, 993 Turbo? I'd have one even in Layland Brown. I mean, look at it.
But that's a metallic, darker red - and they did S1's in that colour, Rudy Red? Firestone? Something like that, a darker, metallic Red. That I don't mind. It's the flat red that doesn't work for me.

I think that looks awful! I’ve never been a fan of metallic darker reds on any car though tbh - red should be bright red to me.

That is the colour of the press 993 Turbos; it’s the archetypal paint for them

Like most cars, they're colour dependant. I mean, it's the best colour for the ISF:

That red is fine on the 911 but the numberplates look awful. Does anywhere still do the period font?

The old font looks huge when you see it these days, the current font is much neater.
It just needs some plates without the ugly blue badge and border.

Just look at it. The 991 Targa was stunning, this is even more stunning. I don’t know why I love the Targas so much but they look so right to me.
