It is proof of a higher power: physics
Physics is just what we use to explain the power, not the power itself.

And of course it only seems ordered and pleasing to us because we evolved in it.

This. Douglas Adams had some interesting comments on this, with respect to puddles.
Who might think their holes in the ground are made for then by a higher being because they fit in them perfectly...etc
Edit, found it, it was when he was working with John Lloyd on Last Chance To See, which was an environmental series he worked on IIRC.

You guys love to make up a reason to have an argument. I just find the universe fascinating, I don't believe anything one way or another other than that no human being knows or can know one way or another at this stage in our development. Things tend towards order, and logic, which in itself is interesting to me.
I just find people that rule anything out to be almost as narrow minded as the god botherers.

The Universe boggles my mind. All the in-explainable "stuff" out there, and where's the edge? What's at the edge? There must be an edge. Mustn't there? <boom>
I don't reckon it's an old bloke with a beard and a stick though.

There's nothing, Just empty space.
That's everything though. At a sub atomic level we're more empty space than stuff.

Go on, say it. Atheists. Yeah, they are pretty fucking terrible aren't they, usually the ones shouting the loudest for longest. I had to unfollow Ricky Gervais on Twitter for this reason, which was a shame as I find him really funny otherwise.
Agnostic is where it's at. Why flat out refuse it exists just because you can't scientifically explain it yet. We will, one day, but until then, keep on questioning shit. You won't ever find out if you put your fingers in your ears & shout 'la la la'
