These have really aged well IMO, I think it looks great. Don't love the interior, but that's a minor detail.
They don't photograph well somehow, they have always looked better in the flesh. And same with the seats in this case. They're not too bad. Are you coming along on the 2nd ? You can check it out in person.
Yeah, I'm planning to be there. Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) it.

I seriously considered an i8, but I decided against it.
Not sure why I found that hilarious, like the world's shortest roller-coaster of a story
I might write a book in that case. Won’t take long
It's already a running joke in this house, that when my wife or I say something that boils down to "I thought about it, then didn't do it", you get a sarcastic double-thumbs up and a "good story !" response.
Re: Evidently NOT the Shortest Ever "Guess The Car" Thread
Do you reckon someone could start a poll ? Does anyone have the tech prowess ? "Will SJ's latest POS drag its sorry ass to the OV9 meet ?"
Subsidiary poll: "and get home again"
Sub-subsidiary poll: "under its own power"
I'm thinking about Archer and his Ferrari, that he had transported everywhere on a flatbed because it was cheaper than driving it & getting it fixed every time

I did genuinely consider that Techno Violet one which was for sale at a dealer a few miles from my office. But I like to do my research.

I wasn't sure if the BMW would get me to and from Edinburgh before Christmas so I can't fucking talk

The (very real) threat of a car dying on an OV9 meet is completely negated by the fact you have a vehicle and trailer standing by to pick up any miscreant… can you please extend that “recovery service “ to all participants?
Honestly have no idea what I’ll own in September, UK or otherwise, let alone bring!

Drag your illustrious ass down south some time. We'll go for a drive.

Assuming that's aimed at me - yes *BUT* it's only 1.85m between the gunwales and I'm not sure the Fezza will fit. Normal pauper cars are fine of course, they're pathetic. FWIW the Galaxie *just* fitted.
And of course you can all GTF if you want me to pootle round all day behind you as your broom wagon !!

Meanie, and yes! Your Vantage sounded great last time, so looking forward to the 360.
I have no knowledge about them, does it have the vacuum valve on the exhaust..( and you have the antisocial/Novitech version I believe!?)

My passport is only valid for so long.
But yeah, I could probably spend a couple of hours just sniffing about your driveway at the slightly sheddy stuff, never mind actually going for a drive

His drive does look like a child’s, all the toys just spread out but only 1 being played with
Excellent purchase, it was an amazingly good drive and easy to get comfy and fun to play with. The lack of torque and high Rev limit meant you were able to be more aggressive than you’d expect.
For what it’s worth, the one I drove was an abused one from a hire place and the guy said mechanically it was doing really well.
Dave!

My Boxster died on a meet. Alternator went, so after some odd symptoms as the battery drained it finally ground to a halt next to a bit pile of shit, amusingly.

In the same area as we’re planning to go this time, iirc.
