Looks jaw-dropping. When's the first big outing?
(I would be keen to know the grand touring abilities for, you know, reasons)

Absolutely with you on the leather.

Tyre roar is the biggest downside but it’s otherwise very good at cruising along - the PDK has 7 gears and coasts when it’s in full auto and just idles. That said I seem to have done 20mpg and over a third of a tank on the way home today which I’m hoping is not representative!

I’d be very keen for an OV9 meet / tour - I know there is a scotchland one in the offing but that’s a bit too far for a weekend trip.

You're not far, I'm sure we can arrange that!

You’re near Croydon right? I’ll come round one day and we can go for a spin.

Very nice. Colour looks great - as I would have expected of course! Rich is right on the wheels….

I’d also be tempted to slim down the badging on the rear end.

Very nice! 8-) Always felt black suits the 911, but would agree on the wheel swap to silver.

911 GTS should do it. Needs a poll though.

I’d probably just have a centrally mounted GTS. Everyone knows it’s a Porsche 911.

You wouldn’t take the PORSCHE off, so I’d go with that plus just 911 or 911 GTS

I'd just ditch the 911 bit:

When did they start adding the "911" badge too? 996/997 never had it - was it around this 991 time?

Yes! And black cars are the best!! I always think black wheels look better irl than photos so will wait to see it in the flesh to decide what you should do with your car! 😉 With that in mind, I’m up for a meet at some point. 👍

Carrera 4 GTS for me..
Cheers,

Ian

Looks great, you’ll be needing a decent sized torque wrench if you even want to remove your own wheels I believe

As for the badges I’d leave them- given the cars age, anything that gets removed may still be visible due to different rates of physical wear from polishing etc and different uv reactions- so if you remove them there’s a risk you’ll always see a ghosting/shadow of where they used to be

Oops - missed this yesterday.

Nice choice. 8-)

As everyone is commenting on the wheels (badging doesn't bother me) :

They look fabulous in your side-on pic. Really like the design. Black wheels can look good to me when they are spotlessly clean, but as soon as there is any dirt on them - not so much. As I have mentioned before - when mine needed a refurb I had them changed to a satin anthracite finish - no regrets.

Very nice. I say swap the wheels, but then again I never like black wheels on anything.

And if you're ever down at Nine Excellence again I'm literally around the corner from that. 😉
