Given me some of the biggest driving thrills ever, but I use the Elise more often. I thought I was hardcore, but I guess I'm just not that hardcore.
Re: For Sells Lotus Elise S1
My pelvis touching the 1/2” box section chassis in my mates 620R and the feeling of vulnerability on the road and track mean caterham is no from me.
Even the S1 is tiny, but I would trust it in an accident way more..

I usually trot out the 'better protection in a crash than a motorbike' argument at this point. It's closer to a motorbike in spirit than almost all other cars, Elise isn't really the same kind of car being so much heavier.

The S1 took its final long and arduous journey to new its new owners earlier.

For those perhaps not realising - the end of the vid is the final destination.

Re: For Sells Lotus Elise S1
Rondinculously cheap in the current climate for a well cared for car with those mods imho.
Re: For Sells Lotus Elise S1
Yeah, that's a good price!
Re: For Sells Lotus Elise S1
Agggh fuck. Its a ridiculously good car. I wish i had the money.
In 3 years he has spent £0 on repairs. I drove it again on track last year and its still properly epic.
I might tell my dad its a good investment and persuade him to loan me some money..

118bhp??? No way with cam and throttle body upgrades or just PH defaults?
Fibreglass osmosis or microblistering of the paint? Osmosis might be a bit full on extreme if it's microblistered and can be sanded. dried and painted.
Even with that at 13k it seems good value.
