This one has the wrong seats but it’s very nice nonetheless. It’s been for sale for around 3 weeks. There’s more cars coming into the 130k range so it looks as if there will be one advertised for 125/120k before long.

I haven’t yet but have been checking listings daily. I won’t actually use it until March for a nurburgring trip and by then I suspect they’ll be another £5k or more cheaper, so it seems very sensible to wait until then.

@revsRus What’s the status on the GT4 Pete? Still got it or sold?

Most cars do, but I think the design of the alloys, the shape of the car and the detailing works with the black wheels on that blue one. Most tempting 600LT out there based solely on looks, in my eyes.

Still got it, has been serviced at Porsche, dents from running over the Belgian cyclist have ben sorted, MOT done and now the wheels need to be refurbed and it will be in presentable sale condition. All of these things took/are taking a while though for the usual reason.

My mate who just sold his brand new 911 Turbo S sent me that exact car yesterday..

Same concerns about massive depreciation exist!!
12-18 month wait for a RHD 992 Turbo S

Prices aren't going anywhere for a while
He sold it for 3k more than he paid

I would like to hear this tale. And agree with Jobbo on the blue with black wheels car, looks fantastic.

Blue one is not my favourite on PH, but looking through the ads I'm shocked with how many have got dog shit photos for such a premium car... do they even want to sell them?

Very well.

After my last foray to the Nurburgring in October I stopped in Brussels for a couple of nights to visit my friend (a belgian erasmus student whom I originally met in Glasgow 15 years ago). On my way to the channel tunnel I was cautiously negotiating Brussels’ various tram, car and cycle network when I gingerly braked as I approached what looked to be a cyclist crossing point. All seemed to be clear so I proceeded and SMASH, a person almost came through my windscreen, completely unseen by me.

I stopped, breathed deeply a couple of times visibly shaking with adrenalin and got out of the car to a young woman sprawled on the pavement groaning, a twisted bicycle and a fast gathering crowd. I tried my best to remain calm and approached the woman apologising profusely. Her head was bleeding badly onto the pavement and she obviously was unable to stand herself. All I could think was that this was my fault entirely and I was going to feel the full weight of pro-cyclist European law.

Within moments police were on the scene and I was in the back of a police van being asked to present all my documents. I had my licence to hand and everything else online. The police spoke near perfect english and made me fill out a statement. There was a notable lack of animosity or sternness and it dawned on me that I wasn’t going to be arrested. I was cautiously relieved.

Despite my windscreen being almost completely obliterated apart from an 8” clear section at the top the police asked me if my car was ok to drive, I said yes and off I continued to Calais.

My Belgian friend inspected the junction for me later that day and informed me cyclists have to give way so I was most likely clear of liability. Huge relief.

The girl who I knocked off was able to stumble into an ambulance so presumably she wasn’t too badly injured.

I still feel guilt over what happened though, I doubt it would have happened to a local. My assumption is she saw me braking with unusual caution for the crossing and assumed I was letting her through, even though I had right of way.

I’ve heard nothing since apart from an incident report through the post from the Belgian police

Cyclists having to give way, can you imagine that in London

Maybe that's why they seem less suicidal on the continent.
How about not having a sig at all?

Sounds like it was more bike speed than car speed which is good. Still, never a nice feeling. A cyclist ploughed into me when I was practically stationary years ago. Thankfully no harm done, but it's still not pleasant.

A deer almost run into the side of the Elise when i was coming to meet you guys at Glenshee. Locked all 4 wheels to avoid it. Thankfully there was a van coming the other way that collected it or it would have been in the side of the Elise - minus roof. That would have hurt!
