Is it the Ford 4 pot in those?
New car photos
Re: New car photos
The block is made in Skovde in Sweden so it looks like it as at least heavily revised with a few tricked bits.
"upgrades include integrating new double-water jacket cooling to offset the additional heat generated and redesigning the head with high-strength aluminum to improve heat management. Exhaust backpressure was reduced with a new catalyst, and the air intake system also was improved to mitigate noise from the supercharger.
The block and crankshaft are all-new, and the diameter of the main bearing was reduced from 60 mm to 53 mm to reduce friction."

Re: New car photos
I think it's Volvo's own engine - it's the same block used for both diesel and petrol variants, with turbo and in some variants supercharger added for more power.

Aye, but IIRC his Audi could go up and down like a ninja?

Re: New car photos
No air suspension on the Volvo; the Audi could indeed go up and down, as should be apparent from the photos in my end of term thread.

Follows on well from the Allroad, it'll be interesting to hear how they compare.

Oh the irony.

Had to trim the hedge so this thread was obviously at the front of my mind. I’ve only ever nicked the cable slightly once before. Straight through it today![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

How about not having a sig at all?

Your chainsaw looks ghey, Mito.
Simon, I do wonder! I was so cocky reading about other people chopping their cables when I never have; I wonder whether that translated to taking less care than usual.
Fixed it in 5 mins with some 5A crimp connectors, electrical tape and a new fuse (only blew the plug fuse, didn’t even trip the RCD).

Depending on where you cut through the cable, it is a very easy fix to re-wire internally for a more durable repair. The one thing you will need if you have a Bosch is an anti-tamper torx bit/allen key for the centre screw. Quite annoying I needed to spend a tenner to buy a set but adds to the tool kit I supposeJobbo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:31 pm Your chainsaw looks ghey, Mito.

Re: New car photos
It wasn't far from the trimmer end; not a Bosch but I imagine they're all pretty similar.
