Posting in completely the wrong place, but I was just looking for a sound vid of the 7l Lister Le Mans when I found this.

Clearly not std as the blurb states a charger, but I suspect some exhaust and cam mods too. The idle is what made me think of you Rev.....

David Emmanuel has put some timber on.

That does sound pretty epic.

I'm glad about that, since I enjoyed the flat iron steak last night. Steaks, in fact, since I ate both myself
Excellent! Hope you enjoy.
Did you exchange your meat for some springs

Transmission gasket and filter, 12 litres of ATF, my steering wheel boss, brake pads and shoes have all turned up.

I’m still waiting for the new circuit board for the rev counter (due today), brake discs (held in customs) and steering wheel (due tomorrow).

Are there no pattern parts that could be got from UK/EU?

I mean, I guess you looked rather than phoning up a Chevy dealer in Utah, etc.

Rev checked, but you can only buy Brake Discs for the front in the UK. He needs Brake Rotors for Up Front.

Hopefully this doesn’t put a brake on the project, wouldn’t want the momentum to fade

There’s a couple of suppliers in the U.K. but they had no stock and were double the price.

Well, it wasn’t the gasket. It looks as though it’s the pump seal that’s gone, which is a gearbox out job.

It was never going to be the sump gasket, it’s not under any pressure there. The worst you’d get is a slight weep.

The pump will very obviously be under pressure. Failure there causes a slight weep from the owner.

You’re doing the LS1 while the gearbox is out, right ?

Nah, it’s rhetorical, because I’m a bit pissed and being an arse

REV will get the gearbox fixed, make a few cosmetic changes, then when he encounters a stuck bolt he’ll get bored and move onto something else.
