The Last Dance

Netflix documentary on Michael Jordan and the 80/90’s bulls.

My boy’s the big NBA fan but I’d you like your sport, even if you’re particularly a basketball fan, it’s well worth a watch

Yes. Quite dark isn't it? I'm enjoying it.

 Guilty pleasure? Good on you for admitting it on a public forum :P
Not even, Buffy is great! Might rewatch Dollhouse for a Whedon continuation and an extra dose of Eliza Dushku.

And I'm quite comfortable not being a proper grown up.
Very much this.

Finished it last night. It’s all very pious, but my god is it beautiful to look at and to listen to.

I’ve only watched the first episode and wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. Stunning to look at, but it didn’t quite grab me - I didn’t realise all episodes were available either so will probably watch those later.
Cheers,

Mike.

Also watched the first episode of Gangs of London. Some most excellent violence and looks like it could be a good one. Looking forward to the binge!
Gangs of London is fucking nuts and I'm enjoying every bloody minute.

I needed something light-hearted and stumbled across "Crashing" an unrefined more juvenile version of Fleabag.

Either Phoebe Waller- Bridge is playing herself or there's some dark shit floating around in her head.

Something different if you enjoyed Fleabag.

Just finished season 2 of The Deuce - very good. Not as good as The Wire but still very good (David Simon and George Pelecanos made it).

Given that it's technically a costume drama I thought sets, locations, costumes, cars etc were awesome, an amazing effort.

Looks like it cost a fortune to make and yet no one knows about it. James Franco does a great job playing the twins
The Deuce is good.
Just finished season 3.
Excellent and brilliant ending 😎

Amazing telly.

It's HBO if that helps, Sky Atlantic?
I got it from a torrent.

I thought it was a lazy ending to an otherwise outstanding series.

The Deuce - turns out I'd watched the first one some time ago when it was on Sky Atlantic, and it had auto downloaded Ep2. But since It's now no longer on Sky that's all I got. Alternative is paying £19 per season to Amazon or Apple. No ta.

Have started Gangs of London. Well, it's not very friendly, is it! :p

I watched the first gangs of london last night - it was kind of peaky blinders meets John Wick, more movie in style than TV. Definitely kept my attention, but it’ll be hard work to keep up that level for a series. Good first episode though.

Got round to watching Picard the other day, I know a few people on here didn't like it, I actually really enjoyed it. A bit disconcerting that they keep calling him JL though. Anyone heard from him lately?

I bought Picard was ok and I’m not a ST fan by any stretch. There was one episode that was fucking awful though and the end was a bit weak.

Caught up now.

Half way through the episode I couldn’t figure out how it’s going to end. In the end the ending was very satisfying. In hindsight it was the only way to end the series.

Enjoyed the final season very much.
