Avoid high speed drilling - low speed with a sharp drill and as much pressure as the big will allow tends to work best.

Le Mans last year when a LMP2 car I think had a massive crash which caused a safety car, limped it to the pits, had half the car replaced and was back out and rejoined the very safety car it caused.
This reminds me of the very opposite of that.
How about not having a sig at all?

I looked at them before but decided they'd be a faff to get my cars on so I'd end up modifying them, and I'd want to be able to remove the ramp section so you can get to the middle of the car from the sides.

Then decided I could probably make something more suitable.

Then never got around to it

I’m steeling myself to start tidying the garage. To give myself some elbow room the Porsche is going to have to live outside for a few days so this afternoon it got moved to the driveway. I know I’m biased but I do think the 996 is continuing to age very nicely. Maybe I’ll even drive it this week :o

I’m afraid that 5 spoke is one of the worst 911 wheels and you should all feel truly ashamed.

The ones fitted to the 4S, Turbo and GT2 are the ones to have as a standard alloy.

The ones that point forwards on one side and backwards on the other ?? No thanks !

These 5-spokes are the lightest OEM eighteens. That's why we've used them 8-)

Oh well done, I now need to buy new alloys for my GT2 as they don’t match.

Why would they do this, now ive seen it I can’t not see it :(

I dislike “all” angled/curved spoke alloys for this reason.

Wait what are we looking for here :?
Both sides look the same to me

On another note I’ve had an email from admiral saying they’ll give £25 back due to fewer claims.

I don’t like these “turbines”, but at least they (correctly) handed them so the look is the same on both sides.

On Jon’s car the spokes curve backwards above the centreline of the wheel on one side of the car, and forwards above the centreline on the other side.

One side invariable looks better than the other.

Me too. They've also waived excess charges for key workers, so that's a nice bonus. And the car is scheduled for repair next week.

I thought the proper Porsche turbot ones were sided so the spokes always pointed the right way?

Bmw are quite good at that, I know the i8 ones are sided, as are the covers on the e34 turbines and throwing stars as well as some of the ugly base model ones like these

It’s poor form to have them not sided.

I’m going to look out for this now !!!
