Just noticed that Disney + has a free trial so I have the Simpsons on in the background today.

Could see it being worthwhile if you have kids. All the Disney movies and loads of old cartoon series as well.

Ordered a few books from Amazon and got Amazon Prime for 30 days free.
A lot of decent material to pass the time.

I’m binge watching old Simon Reeves travel shows on SkyQ

Russia was an eye opener. On Australia now

Yeah, I said we weren't going to get it until there was much more new content available but we cracked. A Simpsons marathon has already started and Mrs Mike is loving The Mandalorian.

There's a hell of a lot of stuff on there to watch, much more than I'd expected to be honest.
Cheers,

Mike.

Last week I binged through Tiger King and The English Game on Netflix. Tiger King is a mad old show, and would definitely recommend watching it. It's really hard to summarise... Just give it a go.

The English Game was pretty decent as well.

Yeah. Wasn't brilliant but nostalgia made up for all the shortfalls IMO.

Sunday after tea watching Next Gen with dad and my sister 8-)

Gordon, Gino and Fred - just saw this on catchup, the new American series. It really does remind me of the old top gear road trips and a good bit of entertainment for these times.
How about not having a sig at all?

Better Call Saul has been outstanding yet again. Only two episodes left in this penultimate season and episode 8 was a belter.

GTFO

It's appallingly bad. So poorly scripted and they're 3 of the most irritating personalities on tv

Westworld season 3 so far.

Really enjoying this. Last night's episode in particular.

I’ve started Ozark S3, really enjoying it so far after a few episodes.

Am saving Westworld S3 as I really need to rewatch the whole thing from the start.

Also thinking about a Twin Peaks rewatch... the original premiered 30 years ago today.
Cheers,

Mike.

All the box sets are pretty affordable now and its no longer difficult to try and get Fire Walk With Me as its often part of them.

I'm onto Series 4 of Alaska:The Last Frontier...

That's the life for me - I'll bet they're not too worried about Covid-19 up there...

I can recommend The Nest on the Beeb at the moment. Three episodes available out of seven so far

yeah, it is pretty awful. I watched far more than I should have because I mistakenly thought it was a 3 episode series not a 3 series and going on forever series.

I don't know what it is about Netflix but shows that people would have never considered watching before become *must see* essential viewing and a national topic of conversation.

For instance, that vegan documentary. I'm genuinely astounded how many people converted after watching it. Even my mate and his wife who mocked me for years for being vegetarian suddenly became vegan.
