Sheer numbers, innit. There’s over 6000 737NGs, probably doing 6 take-offs and landings per day each on average. And only 10 fatal accidents in 23 years. You’re more likely to fall downstairs at home and break your neck.

I’ve got 5 cats who like to lie on the stairs, plus a wife that thinks that a stairs are basically a set of shelves for all the crap she takes out of her handbag.
