I'd be enjoying cheap plonk if I hadn't got carried away last night and had it all then.Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 3:41 pm MCYCs.
I've endured my family and Ex wife. I'm now home alone drinking fine wine*.
*Cheap plonk
Got leftover pizza though, which involves less work than actually cooking. Wonder if there'll be an Asian corner shop open to get a couple of beers around here?

Prepped myself for having to drive out to Bradford or deeper into Leeds to find a shop open. Get car demisted, warmed up, etc.
100yds up the road, my local corner shop is open.
Totally worth it

I’m done and back home. Brilliant day with my in-law family who are all diamonds really. I did most of the cooking so pretty knackered.
I’d still be there but mini-dinny has an XBox live-athon fifa game organised with his mates.
Merry Christmas one and all

Still, don’t know about you but our bit of Leeds has been bright and sunny. You should have dropped the top and gone out for a drive!
Re: Merry Christmas, YCs!
Must have been the first Christmas in the last 5 years that it hasn’t rained whilst I was out cooking, changed all the cat5e in between tending the salmon. Dog sat beside the smoker for the entire 4 hours
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Merry Christmas, YCs!
Oh, I was waaaaaay too hungover to go for a drive while the sun was up. I got two bottles of wine, one for last night, one for tonight.Explosive Newt wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2019 8:22 pmStill, don’t know about you but our bit of Leeds has been bright and sunny. Drank them both last night because I have zero self control.
But yeah, was pretty nice during the day that I avoided by staying in bed feeling like crap.

Onto the festive champagne now and the cheer is flowing somewhat faster
Re: Merry Christmas, YCs!
Had a nice cruise up to mum's via (a short stretch of) the B660. Car fully laden so nothing wild but still a very pleasant drive when the roads are so quiet, even in my snotbox. All I want for Christmas is roads like that the rest of the year.

Not a euphemism.
