Just noticed the spoiler; not seen that option before, so is it a fixed spoiler?

No - just a lip on the normal one. Part of the limited run Sport Edition model along with the front spoiler add ons and the diffuser look rear bumper.

ETA: Red rear light lenses too.

That’s lovely, Broccers.

Looks like the Lotus Kru are now outnumbered on here.

Thanks for the posts fellas.

The guy selling it bought it for his gfriend last nov and it was 15k from a dealer and had the test then - he doesnt have the proof hence it going to Redline next week. Interestingly he also has a 88 speedster and a new 120k 911. 8-)

Its a limited edition sport as GG says. You get a few extras like colour coded hoops, cant really tell on a silver car

Heres a better advert of a gen 1 with pics https://www.dovehousecars.com/car/1132- ... rt-edition

The spoiler should look like this when up

I can't help but be slightly annoyed as I bought my 2005 3.2S for low 20s from a main dealer, sold it to a trader for about £12.5 two years and 20k miles later in 2013 (as I couldn't find a private buyer and wanted rid of it) and they basically haven't depreciated all that much since

I suppose 2k of that was 24 months of Porsche Approved warranty and they fitted £1,000 of new brakes for me before I bought it, but nonetheless...

Bose on yours is definitely worth having. Annoys me my 911 doesn't have it as the standard set up is abysmal.

Its a lot better than the standard system. The subwoofer for it is behind your head and ported between the seats. On non-Bose cars there's just a little cubbyhole there instead. Only downside is I think its harder to replace the head unit should you wish to as there is a fibre optic connection with the speakers or some complexity like that.

Thats one issue I think it has - connecting the phone - does it has an aux port? I'm happy not to have to speak when driving and the sat nav is redundant mostly as youd use google maps.

Can say its going to bother me too much apart from lack of dab :)

I don't think it does have an aux port unfortunately - it likely has a funny tray for you to have a SIM for the car specifically. I'm sure there's probably a more easy workaround to add Bluetooth these days then when I had mine.

Good lad 8-)

Mine has Bose, there’s no aux port that I can see.

Bore scoring isn’t clear cut as finding one that’s ok. A friend bought one that was rebuilt by one of the reputable specialists and had it scoped as part of sale, over a year and 15,000 miles from the rebuild it started going again, he eventually sold it before it got too bad. Things to look out for are a perfectly clean exhaust because someone is hiding the issue for sale or an overly coked up exhaust because it’s got the issue, some coking is normal.

Haha I'll worry every time I take it out then ?

Hopefully with a bit of tlc it will come up as good as redlines

Just needs a good clean I reckon. Redline's has Birmingham spec rouched leather (never seen it on a 9x7!) and grey/black interior, more miles and looks generally rougher once you look past the fact its clean. It has the carbon pack which I like because I'm a tart but would much rather yours overall.

I need to stop contributing to this thread as at sub-£12.5k I'm going to end up buying one for the summer

Just realised these sport editions have the leather dash too which you never see 8-). Normally they're some funny rubberised material that looks like an elephants arse. Oh, and cruise!
