No F1 thread?

Fair enough, I didn’t see the flag.

Re: No F1 thread?
I’ve just rewatched it (admittedly on the ch4 highlights) and couldn’t see any flag, then Hamilton even said “how he wasn’t given a warning flag I don’t know” after it came off.
And I always thought that was a “come in immediately”. If there was a flag and he ignored it I’d expect an immediate penalty?

Re: No F1 thread?
It was definitely said by Paul DiResta and Crofty that the flag was being shown, but to be fair, they’re both morons so who knows?

Even worse than that was when he was driving 1 handed to stop his wing mirror coming off which it then did!

That segment where they do the post race interviews is the same whether is Ch4, Sky etc.

Just saw this on the F1 twitter
“ Despite crashing out on the final lap, Sergio Perez was still classified in P9 - with Gasly P8 - after the race results were counted a lap early”
Why one lap early?!
Imagine if Lewis overtook Seb on the final lap! It would have been disregarded...

Re: No F1 thread?
The chequered flag was show a lap early by mistake and FIA rules states that if it happens the result must be taken from then.Mito Man wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 3:54 pm Just saw this on the F1 twitter

Could you imagine the backlash if that happened?

Re: No F1 thread?
Someone worked out how early a driver can win the Championship under current regs. Very interesting!

Thought this would be about Hamilton’s little extinction outcry and going vegan. Poor chap sold his private jet last month to save the world.
Good driver, just wish he’d keep quiet...

I'm sure if he prays a bit harder it'll all be fine.

Re: No F1 thread?
Bottas doesn’t exactly look like a driver challenging for the World Championship, does he?

Re: No F1 thread?
Not challenging for the World Championship is a nice summary of his career.
Let’s see if Max gets a penalty for ignoring yellow flags

Re: No F1 thread?
He’s been called to the stewards, but only after he apparently admitted in an interview on tv that he was aware of Bottas’ crash but didn’t slow down. It seems they were giving him the benefit of the doubt until then.

Oof. What a moron, that’s surely a clear grid penalty!
