Destiny 2 not quite as sh1t as it was

Post by David_Yu »

Or at least they've added lots of new things to do in this Warmind DLC, albeit the new campaign can be whipped through in 90 minutes or so. :D

But a lot more explorey, grindy stuff and exotics have all been given a great buff, movement speed is far more superpowered space warriory and it's just more fun than on its very lacklustre launch.

It will probably never regain the addictive all-consuming heights of Destiny 1, but for me, that's a good thing.

I'd heard that they had put some quality of life updates in with the new expansion. I got a Hunter and a Warlock to the original level cap and haven't gone back to it since. I might fork out for the expansion pass and see what it's like now.

If you're not a die-hard fan I'd wait until the September expansion. By then there will be a very cheap deal on the previous ones. Curse of Osiris wasn't very good at all, so you're not missing out on that.
Thing is, they'd done such a good job of fvcking it up, most of my clan have buggered off so getting a raid team together is going to be next to impossible. That was the best thing about D1, teaming up with 5 mates and spending hours completing a raid together.

So I reloaded this last week after seeing it now has over a million people on concurrently. Jesus there’s a lot of new stuff to do! I’ve been a bit addicted tbh, and there’s new dlc coming out next month...

Plus it goes F2P in September, so expect even more people to fill the servers.

I picked it up for free on PC during the first anniversary give away a while ago. Played through the campaign and was a bit meh at the end. The relentless looting and upgrading was a bit of a chore, even the shiniest new gun was obsolete about ten minutes after you'd found it seemingly.

At the time my go-to shooter was Apex Legends although I haven't booted that in a while either.

Bought FTL for £1.74 and it has consumed many many hours!

I was thinking about reinstalling it but I’ve just started playing Morrowind for the first time in about 15 years so that’ll probably keep me occupied for a while.
