Could it be from Japan?GG. wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 3:26 pm Interesting spot near me recently:
From a DVLA reg check, it is apparent it is a (very nice) backdate - it does also have a '3.2' sticker in the rear window if you look closely.
Also slightly puzzling in that it is apparently a 1984 (so very early 3.2 Carrera) but not registered until 1991. On that basis I'd assume it was re-registered on import but you can also see that its RHD which presumable means mostly likely a Cyprus (C98) car.
There's also an Allegro hiding in the back of shot so a double spotted

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Could well be. Non-UK RHD Porsches were commonly Cyprus back in the day but can't rule it out.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Whilst I haven’t spotted anything really interesting there’s loads of cars here which you don’t see as many of in the UK. I’ve seen a few 4Cs every day whilst in Italy/Switzerland. BMW 8 series convertible seem to be very popular as does the X7. M2s are seen pretty much on every Main Street. Models 3s must make up 1% of the car population - they’re like Prius’s back home. - Teslas in general are much more common than in the UK but I’ve seen only 1 i3 and no other electric cars. The Urus is pretty much common as muck, like our Range Rover, of which there are almost none.
Every car is wearing winter tyres.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I've yet to see an Urus or an X7
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
A Raptor Ranger yesterday. It looked great.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Didn’t realise the X7 was a thing.
I had John Terry’s wife behind me on the M25 last weekend in a beige Bentayga. She talked non-stop for about an hour.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Wheel spin very common in Verona as some of the streets in the old town are polished marble. Also made it hard to walk when wet.

I saw a proper grimy daily driver looking 959 in Knightsbridge at lunch time, didn’t get a chance to picture it as it went past too quickly. Don’t think it looked very nice in white though.
Also walked past yet another Defender come James Bond abortion but it has a really special plate
Yes that’s a UK plate merged with Austrian one... Jesus wept.

I followed this today near Bradford. Dive planes/ canards on the rear. Wow!

He could replace Adrian Newey with that level of aerodynamic design.

Cheap to lease thugs car.
Golf Rs are also quite common, but not as common as the S3s.
Just remembered the winter before last watching someone in an S3 trying to do donuts in a snowy car park, and just understeering in a circle for the most part.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I'd say the ones you see driven badly are owned but half of them are ringers or Cat S cars rebuilt with hooky parts
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Minty 930 Turbo and an "Aston Martin" Cygnet spotted at the weekend.
