What worries me more is whether Zed will let me paint it orange and stick the confederate flag on the roof

Outrageous, I'm 6'4".
Considering it's all imaginary, you can put whatever flag you like on the roof Rev .

Needs more than just the charger plus fitting. Not sure if for a used charger either...Nathan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 9:18 am I saw a Whipple for the coyote for £2500 on facebook

Not sure about getting to the 200, but the 144mph current record doesn't seem particularly unattainable as these things go.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 8:51 am
The class system is massively complex, but I had a look through and there's a few classes that haven't had a 200mph record set yet, and the class that caught my eye was I/BGALT, for which the current record is 144.032mph set in 2016. I = 46 - 61.99 cubic inches (754cc - 1015cc), B = Blown (Supercharger or Turbo), G = gas (petrol rather than nitromethane etc.) ALT = Altered Coupe. This class doesn't allow any major streamlining other than removal of mirrors/radio antennas etc., all of which got me thinking: what would I build to get me that record?
I'll see you there when I strap a truck turbo and some moon disks onto the fiat 850. It's not very aerodynamic, but has a tiny frontal area
Cheers, Harry

Don’t you need twice the power to get the same speed when driving on salt/sand?
How about not having a sig at all?

No. Salt flats are nothing like sand. The biggest problem is traction, because there’s very little grip, or breaking through the crust.

Re: CTIIRWOIWAHO
No Jon.
"The 5-litre V8 now boots out 420bhp versus 390bhp in the normal car, and the new exhaust batters the air like a distant Chinook. It’s 20mm lower and a bit stiffer than usual, so there’s marginally less slop through corners. The carbon bits are actually functional, so there’s five per cent less drag and 30 per cent less lift. "
To be fair it was a £100k car when new when the std model was £50k. And the carbon rear wing upped that list by another £5k. Proper carbon bits all over it and lighter wheels.
Laughably has the same quoted 0-60 time at 5.6s as our Superb

I can't see any others for sale other than that one! (like any std ones for £15k like you mention)

Re: CTIIRWOIWAHO
The FX50/QX70 (same thing, but model name change) in 5l V8 is a rare enough thing in itself, but only 15 of these came to the UK of the 150 globally (50 in EU).
Re: CTIIRWOIWAHO
That special edition looks crap though. The normal V8 looks identical to the diesel, and it's far more amusing to have a ~400bhp V8 in a car which doesn't look like it'd be particularly rapid.

Make them a cheeky offer arguing that Vettel's poor form devalues the car.

I wonder if it's come up for sale because Infiniti are getting out of the UK and the owner wants rid beforehand
