ETA: the price is competitive with the new Jeep Wrangler and if it came down to a direct choice between a Jeep and a Land Rover, I'd invariably choose the Land Rover product.
Same. Although I think perhaps the Jeep might be a bit better at Off Roadering, AND you can out all the doors and windows like you’re GI Joe

And departing from new cars, compare a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (£15k) with a 2014 Range Rover Sport or Disco and see how much cheaper it is, and how much more reliable it's likely to be; that's where Jeeps score.

They'll surely still do the basic panel ones and pickups. I can't imagine they'd want to completely move it into SUV territory.

Apparently the base price 90 is £42,200

They’ll do a commercial version later for £35k +VAT (£42,000)

Or an Isuzu pickup for literally half that

It annoys me that the 90 has a 101" wheelbase, and the 110 has a 122" wheelbase.

That'll do. And yep, a 5dr Jimny - perfect.
What's that in the back in the 4th pic - a portable shower?

edit: 'Portable Rinse System'. so yes!

Pricing isn’t bad, sits between a Wrangler and a G Wagon and after test driving the new wrangler I wouldn’t have one for more than £10,000. In reality I expect people who would have bought Evoques and Velars will buy this as they were around the same price but inflicted with the “poor mans Range Rover” bollocks whereas this is different enough to not warrant those comments.
How about not having a sig at all?

Shame we can't spec a 90 yet. I like your spec Dave. I've gone for a few more options: https://build.landrover/BFBEE4A5

I'd get the wheels changed to black but I'd have this.

That box which attaches to the rear side window externally is fucking awful, isn't it. Says that it isn't intended to be removed if fitted.

The options aren't madly glitzy like speccing an Evoque or Velar.

The 110 does nothing for me, I do like the 90 but as has been said it looks very colour dependent. The black one looked terrible.

Steelies for me and I like the 6th seat option. That green looks cool to me.

I've worked out how you get the 6-cyl petrol P400; you have to order the X spec (starts at £78,800). Can't find the winch anywhere, though I have found the winch accessory kit (£343 for a couple of shackles, a bit of protective webbing, some gloves and an instruction manual for the winch).

Front jump seat is an absolute necessity. The only thing missing from Rev's spec, but I'd dispense with the driver assistance pack. The only other absolute necessity is the wheelarch protection, which seems to make the Country pack an obvious choice until you spot that you can get them as a dealer option for £620.

ETA: bizarre, you can't order HSE trim with a petrol engine, only the D240.

Shame you can't get the big engine in a basic model.

6 cyl, steel wheels, 6 seats, hose out interior would be perfect.

Various things you can't get yet - a white roof other than on a white car, for instance. I'd like a non-metallic blue one with white steel wheels and a white roof.

That's a daft decision from LR. They should have taken a leaf from Toyota (normally I'd end the sentence there) and seen how popular the white roof'ed FJ Cruiser was in harking back to the original.

It'll become available, maybe when the 90 comes out as a distinctive signature for that model at first.

Just spotted the 'Cabin walk-through' - if you go for the basic model and don't spec a centre console or the jump seat, there's a nice big gap to get to the back seats. I love that it's a selling feature; it's an absence of trim and yet I want it.
