Tesla Model 3 & M5 Competition

Post by Foz »

Interesting few days for new cars this week.

Taken out in a Tesla model 3 that a friend just got, my first experience of an electric car, deeply impressive, genuinely is the future!

Incredible instant grunt, even 4 up that instant torque blew me away, off the line I have never felt that thrust I don't think, and I have launched loads of 4WD turbo stuff and new 911 GT3's.

Intriguing car, I would have one, which I never ever thought!

Later on that night I was also out in a brand new M5 Competition, slightly slower to 60 but the grunt from 60-120 was hilarious!

Typical BMW M car that feels instantly big but shrinks around you, 2WD is hilarious, still wags its tail even in 4WD!

if the Tesla is the future this is definitely the past, funny but pointless, far too quick, horrific colour as well.

Shit photo alert

Love the colour of the M5 though the interior is a bit subdued.

What did you think of the build quality of the Model 3?

That M5 looks pretty bad in that blue. I’ve seen some silver ones which really suit all the black carbon and other trim they have.
How about not having a sig at all?

I think the new M5 looks terrible in any colour except black. It’s just too try-hard for me.

I don’t like the rear window of the T3 either, looks like a cheap Chinese knock-off.
Cheers,

Shut lines on the doors not great, interior reminds me of french..cheaper materials but the screen dominates and it seemed ok all being said.

There's a black one with full de-badge that parks in the station car park. CAF. 8-)
