Just because nothing I do ever goes smoothly, they’re also going to quote for repairs to the damage the transport company did by dropping it off the ramp and coming within inches of smashing into a Fiesta. Apparently me telling him in writing and verbally that the handbrake didn’t work, and that the thread was fucked on the towing eye so it wasn’t a good idea to use it wasn’t enough
I'm amazed you haven't given up years back. I hope the quote is addressed to the transport company!!

Fucks sake!

I wonder if they managed to damage the oil cooler when they dropped it off the transporter. And the handbrake. And the towing eye. And somehow made the steering wheel all sticky. ;)

I'm pretty sure a drop like that could crack the heads if it hit a chassis component - you know how hard those sports car engine mounts are.

Certainly, if the driver is a guide.

Deport the fucker. Yes, he is probably English born and bred, but we don't need dumb cunts like that over here.

So what damage did they do by narrowly avoiding crashing into a Fiesta? Hopefully nothing too significant?

Mainly scrapes on the underside but there’s damage to the underside of the front bumper, the frunk floor is dented and the exhaust tips are scraped underneath. There’s also some damage on the rear bumper where the towing eye caught it when it was breaking free.

Surely the transport company must have some sort of liability insurance for shit like this?

I can’t believe they damaged it. What a nightmare. So have they checked the oil cooler and all looks ok? Next, into the engine? :(

If you've seen Rev on Twitter he won't accept that ☹️

These people are supposed to be professionals.

I once had a company car dropped off in a nearby layby off the A48 as he didn't want to come to my cul de sac . The melon drove it off the back of the transporter without putting the ramps down right in front of me ☹️ I had a mate come over with a load of wooden blocks to prop it up and ultimately get it back on the trailer as the car was dangling 2ft off the back. The 'professional' driver then wanted me to sign for the car as undamaged with damaged sills, scuffed rear bumper and squashed brake and coolant pipes !
