Fresh Insanity - £72k for a Megane
Re: Fresh Insanity - £72k for a Megane
3k less than the new GT4 apparently
Re: Fresh Insanity - £72k for a Megane
Has a lot of expensive trick parts though. If you're really into track days, it probably has appeal.
Not my thing, but I can see why it's expensive.

£20k for some carbon ceramic brakes and carbon wheels? Most of the kit that makes up the base spec doesn't seem too trick.

You probably know more about it than me. Suppose I'm just thinking when a track special comes out, prices are normally £100k plus (thinking M4 GTS, 911 GT3 RS). So to take a Megane, make it lightweight and add all the 'special' components, the eventual price doesn't seem too out there.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 2:50 pm£20k for some carbon ceramic brakes and carbon wheels? Not that I'd ever want one though

They get all the publicity of the 'ring record without having to make any road cars; "No, we didn't make any. They were built to order, but nobody ordered them. <Gallic shrug>"

Some nice Ohlins adjustable dampers too. And we all know that adding lightness lightens ones walletHolley wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 2:58 pmYou probably know more about it than me. I'm sure it's a weapon but if I had £72k burning a hole it wouldn't be going on a fwd hatch, no matter how good it is.
Re: Fresh Insanity - £72k for a Megane
£72k down the shitter me thinks.
How about not having a sig at all?
