Yes very good :) Although the M100 really was a WWD lowpoint. :(
Like the horrid Alfa 4c it's too wide for its length and looks oddly proportioned. And WWD too as you mention

It got really good reviews at the time though, didn't it? Someone activate The Ibbs.

And Rover k-series does?

Lotus have always been more about the drive and handling than the power plant.

Fwd elan was always highly praised in the press and i think they look great.

I'd just never have one because fwd should be left in hatchbacks, but the power plant wouldn't put me off.
Cheers, Harry

Nor me, but I was more talking about the greater market for the car. I'd imagine the K-series is thought of more fondly as it's homegrown.

Ha. I thought that might provoke a response from someone. I really don't like it.

The SLR seems good value based on the estimate. Weren’t they £300k+ new?

ETA- particularly compared to the SLS.

Enjoyed that, always liked the V6 Clio.

Did Matty have one for a while or am I making that up?

John from here had a ph2 in that colour I think, I'm sure he'll chime in at some point. Would like to hear how fondly remembered it is... Or isn't 😄
