Guess the power figure?
Guess the power figure?
Just loaded the wrx on to the dyno at Surrey rolling road for mapping.
Mods are full pro drive system with sport cat, sti turbo, up rated fuel pump and a cosworth panel filter.
Any guesss on a final power figure? a bag a virtual revels for the winner.

Re: Guess the power figure?
312hp
295lb/ft of torque
If you overnight parts from Japan you can build it into a 10 second car
Dave!

Re: Guess the power figure?
Will it decimate everything at Santa Pod...

Re: Guess the power figure?
I'm gonna say 290bhp and 296lb/ft of torque.
Re: Guess the power figure?
Well Mik wins the bag of virtual Revels (no surprise as he ran one of these a few years ago) as it made 318.8hp and 350ft/lb of Torque. Will make another 10hp or so on V-power or momentum but as the local station is Esso I had it mapped on 97 Supreme (which is OK apparently) as that's what it lives on. It only took about 4 runs to get this figure as it made 290 odd with the base map on the first run so it was only tweaking to do.
Feels lively now and quite pokey when it comes on boost. The intercooler would need to be changed and I'd need a decat to get more power but then were at the limit of the standard transmission and pistons so it's good that it's limited in other ways. Pretty happy with that as it shows the engine is strong at 100k.
