Not so, the GT, GTS and Defender were all sold for more than I paid for them years before. Which was nice.

The cause of the current poor car selection is due to having to tighten the financial belt a bit. Some simple arithmetic. £350k in cars. £350k proposed house extension.. You do the math(s).

BTW, I really hope the sale doesn't go well Simon! We're looking to move house, but once that's done I would dearly love to take it off your hands, I've always been rather fond of it as you know.
I’m planning a £3000 extension 😄

The customer video
Why would you spend £3k to get the shittiest “gym” when a basic membership would get you so much more.

I'd set the reserve at a rather sensible £40K (well I thought it was sensible anyway) but expected to get more. Most are going for more than that on Pistonheads, with more miles.

In hindsight, it wasn't the right sale for the car.

Now that I've taken it out and driven it some more I kinda want to keep it :D

Well, it's a bit more than an orangerie, its 2-storey extension about 40ft x 40ft with a lantern roof over part of it, and the footings need to be crazy deep because the land slopes away.. as always the the build is only part of the cost, you then need to fit it out.

Still nowhere near, that might buy the glazing and the kitchen?
