I liked this week's episode. Aston was good, space segment was great, Citreon bit was fun enough (like the Fiesta review many years ago on old Top Gear).

In court Andy Hill said he’d never heard of such a thing, even during his RAF training. Such bullshit.
Yeah, wrong verdict imo.

Moon piece was ace. And the Aston 8-)

The cunt came close to wiping my family and me out in the Jet Provost at Southport. I reckon we were 20 metres away from certain death after he fucked up a manoeuvre when he was well over the crowd, and much lower than he should’ve been, and he didn’t learn a fucking thing about pushing on when things weren’t right. And at the same time, it’s fucked up airshows for everyone else.

I couldn't believe it on the news, how anyone could listen to the basic facts and decide it was anything other than the pilots fault is mind boggling.

That wasn’t the conclusion: it was pilot error, but not to a criminal standard.

Agreed

I especially enjoyed the space stuff

I’d quite like a James May or Clarkson documentary series on Apollo

I wonder if HarryM was present when his cars were driven? Plenty of oil on the start line as they pulled away.

Thanks for not linking to his twitter feed then.

Was he there both days, the main story and when Abby did the hot laps?

He mentioned the Grand Tour on his end of year round up last year. The Testarossa started rattling when he gave it to them and it ended up having some expensive engine work iirc.

Really enjoyed this week’s episode. The 917 piece by James was a particular highlight.

I was surprised how small it was, I always thought they where much larger.

Yeah, seeing it next to the GT2 RS was shocking!

One of the best TGT episodes evar. Even the bit at the end when they were fannying about in Stansted was quite funny.

I was also staggered to hear that the GT2 RS was nearly 2 tonnes!!
