Ford Cortina?
1980’s Scania artic?
Rolls Royce Silver Ghost?
Sunbeam Lotus?
A 3 series?
A 5 series?
A 7 series?

Edit : I didn’t notice the rear engined bit. 😕
I’ll just go with the Scania idea then

If it's a original Fiat 500, then I'm totally jealous!

Not a fiat 500 sadly, but 350 betterer.

A 1969 fiat 850 sedan.

Bought by my grandad in 1974 for the princely sum of £350 as a gift to my mum and uncle.

It was only ever used by my uncle ( although Mum says she can remember having a go on one of the local airfields )

Sadly a year or two later after doing less than 10,000 miles in his hands he managed to plough it into a wall somewhere in north Norfolk.

It was towed back to the farm and has been sat in a barn for the last 40 + years.

On the plus side, it's all there, all original and very little rust ( floors are absolutely solid )

On the negative side, one corner is pretty mashed up, and despite selling hundreds of thousands of them they were never and still aren't as popular as the 500 which means panels are pretty tricky to find.

Due to the very simple and lightweight construction, I'm confident I can get it straight and solid enough to potter around the countryside in.

Unfortunately a squirrel has been living in it at some point as the floor was 6inches deep in shredded paper and acorn shell, interior itself looks remarkably unchewed, with so splits or holes in the vinyl seats.

I have all the hubcaps, all the wheel bolts, but sadly only the one attached wheel, although I'm sure I can bodge something on just to be able to rescue it.

It will never be worth a lot, but I would love to be able to get a car I have seen languishing in a barn my entire life back on the road again. Oh, and it's free.

Oh, and the damage doesn't look pretty, but the pillar hasn't moved, the door gap is even all the way round and it still opens and closes fine 8-)

Oh, and it's a super so has the updated 37bhp engine. It is also tiny.

The 'saloon' body makes it 2in longer than a rover metro, but from memory it's about 5in narrower than one. And if you ever see a metro in a standard parking bay these days you'll realise how tiny they are compared to everything else on the road
