Good point about losing two seats; Exige Cup and Evora GT430 basically offer the same thing don’t they? Similar price and even have the same engine.

Why would anyone choose GT430 over Exige Cup as a track car when the Cup is lighter?

Yeah - the GT430 is a bit of a conundrum when there is another model in the range with a far stronger "natural" track focus.
