Car temperature fools

The only concern for colder houses can be damp. We run a cold-ish house, but also run a dehumidifier during winter - and also the German process of "Stoßlüften" most mornings as well.

Didn't realise how bad it was, but since this the last few years I've had small micro cracks appearing in the plaster as things have been drying out . Humidity used to be 75ish, but now hovers below 60 for the most part.

Ours is mainly as we want to limit the amount of dog smell in the house

Never seems to go above 65% for humidity, the garage is 60% all year round with the dehumidifier set to auto 24/7.

Ours rarely rises about 40 - It's an odd house in that it's not very well built but it retains heat in winter and generally remains cool in summer (although this summer was an obvious exception)

How would you cope with the house that we're commissionig this weekend -
Two thermostats per room, so the underfloor heating keeps your feet warm while the a/c cools the air. Clearly not energy efficient, and against building regs in the UK, but this is in Spain, so it's ok!

That's really low. Especially for an old house...my parents are at that but they have the heating on 11.5 months of the year

If that’s the case, what they spent on insulation, they saved on flooring
