How fast can you do it?

I'm disqualifying myself because there's no "quickly scanning a message while no-ones looking, then replying from my pocket by feel so it doesn't look like I'm ignoring the rest of the meeting I'm in" option, which was my preferred method.
I did my best SMS flirting from my pocket.
....wait, let me rephrase that....
Remember T9 typiing?
Re: Remember T9 typiing?
Never knew it was called T9 typing. It's something is rather forget, to be honest.....although the real ones still typed out full sentences. As is correct.

Every time I have to update my password on my Cisco desk phone I need to do this - brings back good memories of Nokia 5110s and playing snake.
Re: Remember T9 typiing?
I quite liked T9 predictive text but found the two letters per key on some BlackBerry variants the best for accurate predictions. Then I was given a full keyboard Blackberry which I never liked as much; the keys were so tiny.
Re: Remember T9 typiing?
BlackBerry bold FTW - that had raised bumps on the keys which I found helped a lot. In fact it took me years of getting used to an iphone for writing emails and it still heavily is dependent on autocorrect to result in a coherent sentence. Much less so on the BlackBerry I found.

I had to google that model. Launched 2008 which is when I got an iPhone, so I never tried it. I do remember friends who adored their Blackberries keeping the last models for a good few years.
