Yes! Odd, Iโm still subscribed to him and he posts regularly but I havenโt seen his videos for what must be 10 years.unzippy wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2026 11:45 amJorg Sprave?Mito Man wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2026 9:52 am Anyone remember on the early days of YouTube there was that German guy who made ridiculously powerful catapults, crossbows and trebuchets? New toy
Re: New toy
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: New toy
So airsoft is a lot of fun....
I've done a few airsoft days now and am definitely getting into it. Some woodland events and a CQB event at an old
Piggery which was brilliant. The problem with CQB though is running about on concrete, into and out of buildings and the result being shoulders and ankles crying no more
Just picked up this....

It's a E&C 416 A5
No fancy sight as I like iron sights, a foregrip for when the eldest wants to borrow it. So currently have 12 magazines, a chest rig and my PPE. I don't quite want to go full camo Andy McArthritus on it yet as then expectations will be there. Much more fun to shoot someone and walk out of your hidey hole in Jeans and a hoodie.
Pistol next and I'll need to do some stoppage drills, time to watch as many John McPhee videos as possible and make a mini range in the garage.
The duck pond will be handy too....

Well this growing up is going well
I've over 30m of 00 gauge in the loft that me and the youngest use. Sadly the heat has kept us out the last couple of months but I've given a challenge to the youngest with his 11+ and if he gets it done he can have a 9f with sound.

If you want to come up, you have to blow the train whistle or you aren't allowed
The only issue now is using it without him finding out before he gets his results in November.

Dave!
My aunt got my a train set from Japan years ago. The trains are tiny, size of my thumb if that but really nicely made. Now that I have a 3D printer I thought about putting up a small shelf and printing a few bits for it. Just need to figure out how to make a train go forwards to the end of a line and then reverse and repeat that automatically.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: New toy
Probably N Gauge, we have that as our Christmas train set downstairs.

When you add up a fiddle yard, inner and outer tracks etc it starts to really be quite long, 32.5m I think I measured of working track.

Re: New toy
That's fantastic. I grew up riding Honda MiniTrails and later a Yamaha Chappy 80. I would love a Dax or Z125 for nipping about
