Front looks like a Camaro.
Especially if you slap a firebird style conversion kit onto it

I think it looks very good, apart from the stupid screen inside.
Not sure the photos do it justice, I watched the Top Gear reveal and I think it looks pretty nice. There's a few things that seem overdone/exaggerated with the styling or just out of place, but the overall shape and styling, the lights etc looks very promising.

No idea why they've changed the screen setup in the Neue Klasse - the current wraparound large display is one of the best solutions I've seen. Having a standalone screen in the middle seems like a step back.
Cheers,

Mike.

They’ve kind of forgotten that cars need number plates though.

Bunch of Honda Super-N reviews today.

Price confirmed at £18995, just one (pretty good) spec - heated seats/wheel, adaptive cruise, Bose sound, etc. Orders from Monday.

Don't need one, really want one.

That is a bloody good price, a bloody good weight (a touch heavier than my Puma was :o ) and decent range for what it is (190 claimed, probably 150 real world) and if you just need something for blatting around town, and maybe some inter-town trips, that seems like it's a decent choice.
If I had a few extra pennies and somewhere to charge one, I'd be quite interested.

128 miles combined WLTP. They're being sneaky and throwing the "city" WLTP about which you don't have a hope of getting close to.

Do these small EVs actually consume less in the city? The Tesla does 2 miles per KWh in London traffic. Granted I have the AC/heating on as I don’t want to suffer but it’s way more efficient out in free flowing roads (5 miles per kWh)
How about not having a sig at all?

Yes heavy cars are proportionally squared less efficient in stop start conditions.

I mean, if your buying this to commute 50 miles each way on the M6 then sure, but I'd expect this to be more like a Honda Jazz - bimbling around town and maybe between towns from time to time, for most users.

It's a pretty small thing, so I don't think anyone’s gonna be buying it for regularly driving between market towns on the regular either (or if they are, they're probably buying the wrong car)

$25k starting price for the Slate truck and they’re saying first deliveries at the end of the year.

If they get this right it could be a smash.

Mate picked up his Leapmotor C10 today. Had a quick sit in it.

It's the closest you can get to the automotive equivalent of white goods. Quite sparse, basic and cleanly designed, very plain looking thing. However, seems nice enough, well specced, and for what he's paying, it's insanely cheap. He likes it, which is the important bit.

I can see why it sells well, and why it would appeal to those who don't really care about cars.

I've seen a couple of reviews of the C10 range extender. Near 100 mile electric with a petrol powered generator that can provide another 500 miles. They look fantastic.

Just listening to the first few seconds of the video - if you’re gonna put fake noises why not make it sound nice? It sounds like a car from an Atari game ffs. Also surely it should rev up to 11.

Utterly fucking tragic.

Although I am looking forward to the GT3 version, where the fake noise goes up to 9000rpm. It's $5000 of course, but worth it.

And I heard there is going to be a fake manuel too, with a pretend left pedal, which replicates stalling if you fuck it up. It's a $15k option of course but even worther it.
