Labour
Re: Labour
Put all politicians on NMW, give them free accommodation. That way when they say they’re passionate about something you know they mean it.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Labour
I did notice that but then thought it might be a hindrance in providing a stereotypically response to you, so ignored it. Does that help?
Re: Labour
Ah, gotcha.
Here, how have we managed to get 5 pages into a political discussion with no personal insults?
I’ve not even called anyone a gammon yet.

An absolute unit
Re: Labour
Perhaps we're getting old. I haven't insulted you once, for example, and that's just not right.

I was just going to say that! I think it’s a lot more civil on here since the move. Maybe it’s the lack of Mick and Robbie, or that you’re all mellowing, or just because this forum is run on better software now and so everyones blood pressure is a little lower..
Cheers,

Personally speaking, the older I get, the less affected I am by opposing viewpoints. A typical exchange in the reals:
Person : "you're wrong"
Me : "OK"

If anything, I envy him his near-infinite ability to get fired up and argumentative. I find that apathy itself is beyond my ability to give a shit these days.
Re: Labour
Being passionate about something doesn't make you competent at it. It just means you're more disappointed when it goes wrong.
Wait, that sounds just like my sex life.

Comrade is doing his speech. Half way back in the hall are people holding up a Palestine flag...

They'll be going on an illegal general strike next... oh, wait - that was yesterday's speech.
Re: Labour
One thing the brexit referendum has proven, beyond any doubt, is that they all utterly incapable of leading and being representatives of legitimate democracy in this country.

I find it amazing that they've taken something where public opinion is so binary and managed to piss everyone off with it.
