Which is a halo car, right? Something that 99.9% of people aren't going to be able to buy, but garners enough interest in lower models (or individual parts).

And despite the typical misery peddlers on PH, it all gets people talking about the brand.

Indeed, this is my disney crystal castle (which is 700 thousand dollars in the gift store I think).

They don't sell many, but if you haven't got it you can't sell any.

I fully appreciate how just making it look that clean and minimalist must have taken a silly amount of work and still be fully functional.

What a wonderful thing to have been able to make 😎

You should be duly proud.

We basically don't have any options as everything is already included, but its something we've deliberated over and need to communicate properly when the proper website goes up - we just have a holding page for now as the invite to this show and the subsequent launch was quite recent and as a result it became a bit of a rush to get everything in place, but it was good to have a deadline.

But yes, I think thats how just about everyone else does it, including Analogue.
Small comment on the holding page - spend £15 a month on a virtual landline number as a mobile number does put people off.

I have a landline in the workshop too but if you actually want to get hold of me you need to ring my mobile.

A virtual landline will let someone dial say, an 0113 number and it'll get automatically(and transparently, to them) redirected to your mobile, or any number you want, based on time conditions.

So you could theoretically have an 0113 number redirected to a holding message/answerphone between midnight and 0800hrs, to a mobile between 0800 and 0930, and an office number between 0930 and 1800, then back to mobile till midnight, then back to holding message.

Source: This is what my previous employer used to do. Although god knows, don't use them.

I'm sitting in Spain at the moment and our virtual landline rings me here and my business partner's mobile in London at the same time. It also makes it far easier to decide whether you want to answer a call out of hours, as most offer a timed voicemail option while also sending you a notification of the missed call on your mobile.

Does registering your interest just sign you up to a hpe newsletter service? Because I’d be interested in that but god knows I have nowhere near the funds for an actual car

If you sell one can we all come to your workshop and have a massive piss up and a poke around it? :D

Outstanding work. Trolling PH is just the icing on really.
You settle up, I'll go get the Jag.

Obvs. I'm v. late (though I did look at PH on the day) so questions may have been answered elsewhere, is there going to be a more in depth article/feature/vid somewhere in the future?
The studio pics remind me of competition cars before they get their sponsorship livery, the ones with the panels off maybe a bit more group B 8-)
The cost is the cost, the price is the price, I'm sure it could be made more so with different coloured seat belts and calipers ... wrt the "rattle can" finish, I wonder which colour/lacquer/wrap is least heavy?
Now you've gone this far, how long until you bring out a chassis?
Reading about its progress over the years has been very interesting and allowed someone like to me to see the "what if" of taking something a step further than the step you'd originally considered a step further, I'm happy and glad for you it's finished* and you can now get to drive it 8-)

*for now.

Today I had probably the most epic day I’ve had in a car, at the mission motorsport invitational track day at Anglesey. I gave passenger laps all day long and in between chatted to lots of lovely people that were interested in the car, not least this bloke…

Had to make sure he was comfortable for the forthcoming drive video 😎

Meanwhile, I cocked up the exposure on my new fancy hardwired onboard camera so everything outside is washed out, but the noise is pretty epic all the same.

I just checked my CAF meter, and it hit full scale deflection. :ugeek:

I can understand your excitement 8-) (and anyone who has driving Anglesey can tell exactly where you are in the vid).

Fantastic! Was it a proper review by Harris or just a taster to whet his appetite?

And is he shorter than me? 😄

About the same I reckon :)

It was just a taster, he didn't have time to drive it as he was fully committed to other stuff, he driven up from london then night before from the Luca premiere and then headed straight back down there in the afternoon, but he interviewed me on camera and did a few bits with his meta specs which he's going to put out on his socials over the next week or so.

I also overtook him out on track in his yellow GT3
