This is absolutely incredible. Although the last two bikes absolutely rode themselves into that and likely jumped the red light, I think there is a case to be made that the van turned right without checking his mirrors so should actually take most of the liability. Just because the mopeds were riding like twats on an Uber eats team time trial doesn't mean they actually caused it.

Overtaking a van that is clearly indicating right is van’s fault??

What about mirror, signal, manoeuvre? Looks like the van only did signal and manoeuvre.

100% moped idiots fault, also overtaking on zigzags.

to be fair, they’d weaved from the other side to overtake the camera car, he could have looked in his mirror and they weren’t there when he started indicating.

either way, i put zero blame on the van.

What Rich said.

Bikes went for overtakes on zigzags, of a van signalling right, after weaving from nearside to offside, and 2 of them went through a red light to do it.

Just because the bikes were overtaking illegally on the zig zags doesn't excuse the van driver completely. I'd say that's 50/50 up to 80/20 more favouring the van, though I feel sorry for the driver.

I blame the cyclist.

The third one went over in support of its two brothers - the three mehscooteers.

Brilliant, making yourself more in the way because you fancy a slow chat makes you a bit of a knob.

The road section of the Rutland Water loop sees most cross country guys overtake the Lycra lot as that’s where they like a chat. Normally we used to pedal like we are being chased by a Vegan with a leaflet and then knock up a couple of gears to look composed and fly past them saying morning 😂

I'd rather cyclists go slowly; they're easier to overtake. And it's not as if you give them less room when they're riding in single file than two abreast.
