Whilst justifiably appalled, the Electorate heard mitigating evidence that this footage is over three years old, and that he only appears to perform this transgression once throughout the footage, whilst moving in slower traffic. Additionally they took into consideration that - in more recent videos - he has found his heel&toe technique with this vehicle (a skill that was familiar to him, but he struggled to perform in this Lotus Exige 410 which was new to him at the time). Note: Normally Heel&Toe is a topic only of interest to the ASSHAT (Adequate Suitable & Sustainable Heel & Toe) Committee, but the SLAP Electorate felt the above demonstrated ongoing driver development, and therefore allowed an exception.

The SLAP Electorate therefore – in this case - applied due leniency.
