We’re doing a charity secret santa at work with a local kids charity, so I’m using it as an excuse to hit the Lego store in town this weekend
An absolute unit
Re: Lego
Just noticed, if you scroll down that link, the new F1 Technic Ferrari is there too.. if Technic floats your boat. These are pretty big models, great displays.

Re: Lego
My son bought this, when it came out, just to get the official Fives clone figure, he built Vader and Fives and the rest is still in the box!

Re: Lego
I'm ready to throw the Jaws set in the bin as the front bow section of the boat is as solid as jelly. There's a couple of little pieces which don't quite line up correctly meaning they're under pressure constantly which in turn just makes them keep popping off.
Cheers,
Mike.

Too many small pieces? Guess you need a bigger boatAscender wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:56 am I'm ready to throw the Jaws set in the bin as the front bow section of the boat is as solid as jelly. I haven't started mine yet, but now I wanna leave it in the sealed boxAscender wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:56 am I'm ready to throw the Jaws set in the bin as the front bow section of the boat is as solid as jelly. @KiwiDave I was really enjoying it up to this point! Don't let it put you off. When you're putting the bow together and you get to two small light blue pieces, just don't put them on which should work. As soon as you get to that part, you'll know it.
Cheers,

Re: Lego
Are you sure it's put together right? I remember people complaining that the Caterham was a bit fragile and I didn't really notice when building but really it was; it was an Ideas set so wasn't necessarily as robust as Lego's own design. But I've not seen any complaints about the Jaws set. Haven't built mine yet though.

Good things come to those who wait, it's free on Epic games next week (I hope Epic pay a decent amount for these giveaways Barry)Barry wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 5:27 pm Also, shameless self promotion, but we finally released Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga last week. It's No.1 in the physical sales charts (and that's about 1/3 of our sales so far). Rather proud I must admit. Oh, 82k+ concurrent players on Steam at one point too.. huge numbers for a childrens game..
Re: Lego
There must be something in it for us yeah, we've updated some Harry Potter titles recently too (3rd party did it for us) which is bringing some lovely revenueRobYob wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 8:52 pmGood things come to those who wait, it's free on Epic games next week (I hope Epic pay a decent amount for these giveaways Barry)Barry wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 5:27 pm Also, shameless self promotion, but we finally released Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga last week. Been watching the Lego imposters games closely too, Horizon getting middling reviews/users.
