In April 2002 my basic was £10k, with a £44k O.T.E. I think my first job out of Uni in Sept '01 was £14k with a £28k O.T.E - I left a month after the guaranteed commission ran out as there was no hope of getting near the O.T.E.

However, on the intervewee side....you need to go with your gut. Have you had a chance to walk around, see the offices and who you'll be working with?
