Countdown to picking up new car day
Re: Countdown to picking up new car day
It's always exciting picking up a new car. Whether new new (where my experience is limited) or second hand.

The best way I could describe it was like a permanent mild hangover and everyone talked a bit too loudGavster wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:31 pm I am slowly moving over to full carnivore for the last week or two of the experiment. Yesterday I had half an avocado, one portion of broccoli and a couple of small handfuls of blueberries, that was all, aside from meat and eggs.
I do feel a bit better today (it's day 12 in real life) than yesterday and my stress levels have reduced a bit. I spent the first 11 days feeling like I was running on adrenaline, it was kinda exhausting.
Promise to go full carnivore for 4 weeks and I’ll take you for a steak lunch in London as I’m there on the 4th to sort a Visa *. I promise you will notice a difference. Zero veg, no sugar, water and the only dairy as butter. I’d be intrigued to see what you think when being strict.

Nice offer thanks! But the small matter of Christmas means I’ll be ramming my cakehole with mince pies by the 20th of DecemberV8Granite wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:31 pmThe best way I could describe it was like a permanent mild hangover and everyone talked a bit too loudGavster wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:31 pm I am slowly moving over to full carnivore for the last week or two of the experiment. Re: Countdown to picking up new car day
Fuckin hell that was a long week
Also to add to the whole life change, I'm doing a second viewing and meeting the owners of the new place in Suffolk tomorrow morning to tie up the details. It's only a rental, but it's blooming lovely. Looks like a new home and new car all sorted by the end of the weekend!
