There does appear to be a lot of opposition and permits have yet to be granted but why is this stuff not more wider spread on the news. It's much more interesting and important than the 'stuff' that makes it on the box.
No one really cares what happens in international waters and if I was being conspiratorial I’d say there are probably some very wealthy people rubbing their hands together at the prospect of getting a bit richer off this.
I'm already part way through the manufacture of a manned sub to allow me to harvest this stuff. I've decided to use Carbon fibre for the main body section to save weight. Gonna be rrrrich

Sounds seriously cool, I hope they find it’s a plankton or something that is producing the effect and that we can grow ponds of that shit.. before China/US show up with a big boat and dredge all the rocks!
