I thought the ideal shape for these would be something like a people carrier. Don't mind them though, in between crap Uber drivers and black cabs who seem like a lottery in terms of taking longer routes I'd happily go in a robotaxi over either of those options.
How about not having a sig at all?

Its become pretty clear in recent years that unless these things are on dedicated lanes of some sort then fully autonomous driving on a mass scale is many, many years away.

I still think that's why Apple ditched plans for their car. The industry thought there was going to be some big breakthrough in the tech which meant the dream of self-driving cars was about to be realised, but it just didn't happen.
