I agree. I seem to recall our first demo car showing Volvo service centres on the sat nav though, which wasn’t ideal…
They did a good job using the Volvo parts in other areas too, and they were decent quality. As part of Ford’s ‘Premier Auto Group’ items went into JLR products also.

There is a 2006 Vantage for sale at £22,500 less than a mile from my house

Come on, share the link !

The only thing that would put off a very early car is that the dash illumination was green and that was quite quickly superseded by white which looks much much better IMO. Slight change to the seat design too but that's not a big deal.

Hmmm it’s not utterly awful but the seats do look a bit tired ? Maybe worth a look as it’s local but I’d personally hold out for black interior.
