The Weather Thread.
Re: The Weather Thread.
I've just put the summer wheels back on the dog wagon, so expect an impending snowpocalypse.
Cheers,
Mike.

Before Easter! Are you mad?
It's pishing down here atm - I don't think that was forecast but a clear night at feels like 0° is so I expect there will be crashes later if not already.

You sound like my father in law...
It's not even Easter! We've not started lambing yet. Have you not heard of the annual lambing snow?
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: The Weather Thread.
Apologies for awakening the twitch
If not quite expected every year, we've had wintery weather at Easter often enough for it not to be a surprise.
First lambs were spotted about a month ago or more, though only at the one flock. There may well be more elsewhere, I haven't been that way for a while.
Re: The Weather Thread.
I've realised the mild wet weather is shit for animals outside. So many mites and fleas about, I guess the weather hasn't been cold enough to kill them off this winter.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: The Weather Thread.
Hordes of flying fuckers about, might as well be in Scotland
I saw a number of bats at twilight/dusk yesterday, hopefully early enough to catch plenty of them.

Also noticed that mosquitos never really died off this year. Reckon it'll be a pretty bad year for being bitten!

Re: The Weather Thread.
I’ve quite enjoyed being outside after work this week doing some MOT prep work. Nice to be plenty warm enough in normal clothes and it not being wet or windy.
Couple of hours more daylight and I’ll be pretty happy.
Feels like it’s been a long long time coming.

It's the Worm Full Moon tonight. I've had (and got) an excellent view of it rising into a clear sky. https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/moon/worm.html
There's a lunar eclipse tomorrow morning but it's at its peak after moonset so we may not notice much.

Full Moon rising into a pretty clear (atm) sky
I don't know if I'll venture out to see it later, too many roadworks/closures/diversions

Re: The Weather Thread.
Moon looks great this evening, sky is optically clear and some scattered clouds. Not windy either.

Re: The Weather Thread.
That's all great but can someone turn the heating up a bit? Bloomin freezing out there for late April

Re: The Weather Thread.
Stop hanging around street corners, and go sit inside. That'll help.

Woken up a while back by the storm - much thunder and lightning and a fair bit o' rain too, plus foxes being noisy (which might explain some of the banging and crashing). Air quality is still described as 'poor'
I didn't say at the time that the last full moon was the Pink Moon and it was in Scorpio. If I knew what any of that meant, I've forgotten

East London zone 3 (Forest Gate) so basically a different time zone to you two, it's quicker for me to get to France than Chelsea from here
