I’m guessing no the stainless steel trim just clips onto the rubber accelerator pedal like it does on most cars but it was a bit of a shit fit and the trim popped off. But I don’t understand how that would jam the accelerator?

Probably goes the wrong side of the mats and locks in place. I’m surprised the recall isn’t just to remove the mats

Just seen a video showing the issue, and yeah, if the cover is held on that poorly it’s east to see how it could get jammed!

But yeah, it’s a stainless plate over a plastic pedal.

Floor hinged, the cover can come loose and wedge into the a joint in the floor covering where the under dash panel meets the bulkhead piece if it slides up a couple of inches while at full throttle!

The pedal stop adjuster once jammed into my Halfords floor mats.

Luckily with 110hp, 2.5 tons and the performance on offer. I had time to finish my sandwich before anything exciting was going to happen.

Through navigator error I was once directed down here in the scouts transit minibus. (They had their google maps set to walk )It’s basically a green lane beyond where street view can see, and I’d been informed that access to the site where we stayed had a strange entrance road so I didn’t question it until it got really bad. I then had to reverse back up it

I got bored after the first 5 minutes.

Firstly, I don't care how a Tesla does against a rivian, I want to know how it does against an ICE off road vehicle. And secondly, the initially striking Cybertruck looks are beginning to look very ungainly with familiarity. Particularly when viewed from higher up.

They’ve also claimed they’re now making 1000 a week yet delivered less than 4000 since they started delivering in December.

I know it takes a while to ramp up production, but seems like quite a difference, especially as there’s supposed to be an insane waiting list, you’d think they’d be shipped out and sold as soon as they were finished.

I'd like to see a genuine waiting list, rather than the $100 refundable deposit nonsense. How many people have committed proper (non-refundable) cash to buy one?

After seeing a few videos now, it has instant response going for it and nothing else.

If I took my local place Yarwell and doubled the size of the course to make it fair for such a large vehicle, it wouldn’t be able to follow my Decender after 100 metres. I doubt it would even have a chance against the ML and that relies on traction control more than suspension.

Give me an F250 dually to be a much much better pick-up in all situations.

Followed one last week and it’s such an ugly, ungainly shape that I actually felt angry towards the driver! Far too big and obnoxious I thought, but then looked the other way and saw an old F350 towing an even longer trailer and had to remind myself that everything is bigger over here!
