I like the look of that Senna one, although if they bring out a series of classic F1 cars like that, I'm going to need another shelf.

Looks like my Dune Ornithopter has shipped, I forgot I'd ordered that.
Cheers,

Mike.

I like the Senna McLaren - though I hope it's not £80 in the UK; that's pricey. Never had any of the big Technic F1 cars and won't be buying this one either - they're historically all show and not much in the way of function (other than engine, steering and suspension) but Technic wasn't traditionally suited to good looking models.

Quite like the Speed Champions McLaren though:

I really do feel like either I've become a bigger sucker or they've absolutely zoned right in on the user demographics for niche interests and people who simply cannot resist a new Lego kit.

I've bought more Lego in the last 12 months than probably most of the rest of my life combined, and they're all quite niche interest kits.

(edited to add, already pre-ordered the Senna)

Built my Senna at the weekend, it's a lovely little thing, I think even non Lego F1 fans would enjoy. Just don't stare at the rear tyres too long..

Check out the Lego thread on ph there's links to 3D print files to do better rear tyres.

Would totally do this, if I had a 3D printer.

Same here but I guess they'll appear on eBay soon enough. In fact they already are!

Well that's lovely. Personally I would have preferred the Shuttle and it's rockets and tanks and launch pad gubbins, but still...
