Not sure if joking
Real answer is that it’s his MOD civilian grade, B2 being approximately equal to Colonel in responsibility. But with less chance of getting shot.

One of the comments there said how having an apostrophe in your name is a PITA that must be so true. I've had documents rejected because my street has an apostrophe in it, which is a relatively minor inconvenience and one I can remove without being noticed. That's nothing compared to actual ID documents with your name, where an inconsistency could cause massive issues.Matty wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 1:44 pm Thread discussing that here

Remove apostrophe, accepts name- send proof
Cannot accept proof doesn’t match entered name
Re: Amusing names
Got to wonder - are the 2 stars part of the names or are they the favourites?
i don’t think Lily’Mae will be too worried about official documents in her future, she’d be lucky if she ever rode a plane, rode a plane…

Re: Amusing names
Ah, that makes some sense of places renamed -', but it still doesn't make sense that systems can't cope with such things.Gavster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2024 6:35 pmOne of the comments there said how having an apostrophe in your name is a PITA that must be so true. Re: Amusing names
Those names make this ripe for a repost;
Re: Amusing names
Here's one I think I posted on Facebook when I spotted it. Not rude, just seems unappetising: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9VfZFXyWTZQpVXkZ7
I've definitely posted this one before but the name was changed nearly 10 years ago so it may have been forgotten: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4oAM3L5X3ZJ3Nfax5

Re: Amusing names
Yikes. I can see that one being a bit problematic.
Re: Amusing names
I remember you posting that second one before. I wonder if it was removed, or relocated.
