What was the book that showed lots of positioning, riding tips etc for new riders and riders who wanted to improve ?
I’m sure there was quite a well known one but I can’t remember it at all.

Roadcraft ?
I'd pick Survival Skills (Kev Williams) though.

He did a couple of ride outs in the Dales with us and chatted plenty with him on Visordown/therevcounter.

A twist of the wrist probs isn't for noobs, but it's been a while since I read it. Roadcraft will send you into a boredom coma. Do a bikesafe course and ride a lot.

My dad and I done the bike safe about 20 years ago in Bromley. Probably changed a lot since then but was a good thing to do.Barry wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 8:35 amThat's the one I was thinking of tbh.
If you want to learn on the job, check if your local plod do a BikeSafe course. Usually cheap and while brief it's a good way to get a quick overview of how they approach riding.
