Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Finally seen an Eletre in traffic, it looks massive, so much so I looked up the dimensions. It’s almost exactly Urus sized but looks so much bigger when surrounded by other traffic.
Doesn’t do that trick of appearing smaller than it is, quite the opposite of it really.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I've seen two in real life now. I didn't get that close up but they didn't seem enormous to me. My baseline is set at a FFRR though so that's probably why
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Eletre is longer and and wider (if you go for conventional mirrors rather than cameras) than the new standard wheelbase Range Rover.

If anyone other than the Adamms Family got out of that or I'd be sorely disappointedSundayjumper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 12:13 pm (not my photo)
I don’t like black wheels, I don’t like the whole “murdered out” thing, but I’ll say - if you’re going to do it, do it right. This is doing it right:

Not even any tippex on the tyres - what were they thinking!
Been meaning to contribute to this thread for a while:
Anyone guess what's special about this?
599 bwaaarp-ing away stuck in traffic outside the office
Local M2 with ladders on the roof:
Cool old van (I think came up as an Austin when I ran the plates):

I know - it's feckin scandalous!
Something funny with the front window. Bad tint job, or is it owned by the singer from La Roux, and therefore Bullet Proof?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yep armoured.
I saw Prince William being transported in the new Range Rover yesterday, usual Police motorbike procession.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I quite like the fact that my silly roof rack usage would be enough to get on a spotted thread! I've put WAY dafter amounts of things on the roofs of my M2/M3's over the years!

I presume they're going for that funny irregular/non-weaved carbon stuff that Lambo seem keen on - looks like melted plastic in that LoltusSundayjumper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 4:09 pmI don't mind the marble effect on the wheel. Very unimpressed with the ipod zip tied to the handbrake though.

It's worse than an ipod, that's an airlift suspension controller thing. Just what you want falling between your seats while driving.Sundayjumper wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 4:09 pmI don't mind the marble effect on the wheel. Very unimpressed with the ipod zip tied to the handbrake though.

Yikes
Not sure what flavour of 7-clone this is, but that’s a 6.2 LS3 in the front (which isn’t as heavy as many suspect). That’s 425bhp as an absolute minimum…. Although you’d be silly not to tick the slightly lumpier can option when choosing a crate engine, which will mean 480+

but also wondering how well it can utilize it.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Maybe the ecu has tc (can you buy the LS with management ready to go?), or you could lope along in a higher gear with the torque.
@mik have you found out anything else about it?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Reminded by DJ's comment in "Today's want", I saw one of these today;
It was in fine fettle and looked factory standard spec.
