Damn, that's a shocker. I wouldn't say I was his biggest 'love the show' / 'no G' fan, but enjoyed listening to him as I typically have Radio 2 in the car (unless the kids demand I switch it to something else, currently they favour Capital). RIP.

He's looked terrible for years. I wasn't a fan of his but I do recall seeing him at a Radio 1 Roadshow a million years ago and quite enjoying that.

I didn't realise he was that 'old' - sort of assumed mid-50s.
